Diffused Aeration

THE MAIN ADVANTAGES OF A WAWCON SPECIFIES AIRLIFT INCLUDE:

No orifices below the water, so no solids or water are in contact with the orificing

No moving parts.

Very little change in blower discharge pressure over the equipment life.

No problems in starting and stopping the air, such as in a digester basin.

All piping, supports and fasteners, below the water are stainless steel. (Other options are available)

If the basin is too deep for the blower pressure, the H-P system can utilize "Draft Tubes" to raise the air release elevation and lower the blower pressure.

The vertical drop pipe is open and unobstructed, the entire length, even through the diffuser.

Whether installed in a new basin or retrofitted to an existing basin, the H-P air diffuser equipment will be made to meet and exceed the engineers and owners specifications.

Shown here is a photo of an existing aeration basin that had large mechanical surface aerators but was retrofitted with an H-P air diffusion system, with hot dip galvanized steel air distribution piping, stainless steel cross headers, with stainless steel air drop pipes and supports.

Pictured is a new aeration basin that has an H-P air diffusion system, with hot dip galvanized steel air distribution piping and cross headers, stainless steel air drop pipes and galvanized steel supports.

This is a photo of a new aeration basin that has been fitted with a new H-P air diffusion system, with hot dip galvanized steel air distribution piping and cross headers, stainless steel air drop pipes and galvanized steel supports. There are isolation gaskets in the pipe coupling between the existing painted piping and the new galvanized steel.

This existing aeration basin has a new H-P air diffusion system, with rolled hot dip galvanized steel air distribution piping around the clarifier outer walkway. And radial air headers with stainless steel air drop pipes and galvanized steel supports.
